Sales Representative - Custom

Our team is constantly pushing the boundaries of development to celebrate the sport we enjoy and love. Every product Pedal Mafia makes is done so with extreme attention to detail, constructed from the highest quality materials, in factories that pride themselves on craftsmanship. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven independent sales representative to drive Pedal Mafia’s Custom offering. The independent sales representative’s responsibilities include managing relationships with cycling clubs and teams, identifying opportunities, answering customers' questions, and finding new customers. You should also be able to implement effective sales strategies to continually meet or exceed sales quotas.

To be successful as an independent sales representative, you should be passionate about the sport of cycling and committed to achieving sales goals with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-performing independent sales representative should demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills, and achieve excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential cycling clubs and teams through networking and involvement in local and regional cycling community
  • Arranging meetings with potential and existing customers to present Pedal Mafia Custom offering
  • Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Negotiating pricing with customers to maximize purchase volume
  • Promptly submitting purchase orders for processing
  • Following up with customers to inquire into whether purchased products meet their expectations
  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving complaints

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven sales experience.
  • The ability to travel regionally to cycling races and events
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
