Retail Associate - Santa Monica

Our team is constantly pushing the boundaries of development to celebrate the sport we enjoy and love. Every product Pedal Mafia makes is done so with extreme attention to detail, constructed from the highest quality materials, in factories that pride themselves on craftsmanship.

We are looking for an organized and experienced Retail Manager to ensure that the Pedal Mafia Santa Monica Location exemplifies the business’s standard for excellence, achieves sales targets, and ensures customers are satisfied with their in-store experience. The Retail Manager is also responsible for hiring and training staff, assigning shifts, and creating a monthly budget.

To be successful as the Retail Manager you must be able to multitask and have experience with business management. A great Retail Manager has excellent customer service skills and is a natural leader.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of customer care and service
  • Listen and respond to customers' complaints
  • Stock and inventory management
  • Maintain the overall upkeep and aesthetic of the store
  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets

Creative Assistant

Pedal Mafia is seeking a Creative Assistant to join our growing Custom team. This individual will be a critical part of the design process from initial concept through final product creation. The ideal candidate will be able to join forces with clients to achieve custom design stipulations. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. 

The candidate should also have outstanding design and type skills, a passion for creative and innovative solutions, and experience in a fast-paced, creative environment. A commitment to organization, teammates and deadlines; attention to detail and quality; excellent communication; and the ability to handle fast turnover of projects is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Create designs for Pedal Mafia’s creative team
  • Assist on photo shoots.
  • Generate and sell creative ideas to internal team
  • Clearly present visions/ideas in both formal and informal settings

Graphic Designer Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design or multimedia
  • Strong graphic design, layout, typography and image manipulation skills
  • Strong sense of design, color and composition. Must be flexible in creative approach to projects.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), and PowerPoint
  • Efficient, organized and able to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able thrive in deadline-driven environment, and can manage multiple projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Portfolio or work samples required

Sales Representative - Custom

Our team is constantly pushing the boundaries of development to celebrate the sport we enjoy and love. Every product Pedal Mafia makes is done so with extreme attention to detail, constructed from the highest quality materials, in factories that pride themselves on craftsmanship. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven independent sales representative to drive Pedal Mafia’s Custom offering. The independent sales representative’s responsibilities include managing relationships with cycling clubs and teams, identifying opportunities, answering customers' questions, and finding new customers. You should also be able to implement effective sales strategies to continually meet or exceed sales quotas.

To be successful as an independent sales representative, you should be passionate about the sport of cycling and committed to achieving sales goals with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-performing independent sales representative should demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills, and achieve excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential cycling clubs and teams through networking and involvement in local and regional cycling community
  • Arranging meetings with potential and existing customers to present Pedal Mafia Custom offering
  • Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Negotiating pricing with customers to maximize purchase volume
  • Promptly submitting purchase orders for processing
  • Following up with customers to inquire into whether purchased products meet their expectations
  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving complaints

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven sales experience.
  • The ability to travel regionally to cycling races and events
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
